SADAS Achieves Success with Rewinder Technology Upgrade at Sonoco Alcore Demolli.

SADAS proudly announces the completion of a major technology modernization project at the Sonoco Italia S.r.l. plant in Turin. The project involved a paper rewinder dating back to 2000; the machinery was upgraded to address obsolescence, resulting in significant performance improvements.

The operation entailed replacing the old sectional drive system—based on Simoreg DC Master & T400 technology—with an innovative solution integrating the state-of-the-art Sinamics DC drive system. This upgrade was complemented by the implementation of an optimized tension control system, managed by a latest-generation CPU specifically designed to ensure precision and reliability.
