Many Tissue machines in production today share the same control architecture: one engineering station and 2-3 operator stations on PCS 7. It's the most common configuration in the sector (about 90% of plants), and also the one where the technology deadline is becoming most concrete.
We have in fact reached PCS 7 V10, the last supported version before PCS Neo definitively takes its place. For those still running older systems, this is the last window for a "simple" revamp, before the move becomes a mandatory migration to the new platform.
On top of this comes the NIS2 directive: obsolete plants now also represent a cyber risk that has to be factored in.
Our solution:
SADAS has developed a modular revamping path designed specifically for these standard architectures:
✓ On-site intervention in just 3-5 days
✓ No changes to the machine program: zero impact on the process
✓ NIS2 compliance
✓ Step-by-step path, scalable to the plant's needs
All of this is made possible by pre-validated templates, standard libraries and accelerated FAT/SAT activities, to keep downtime to a minimum.
Find us at MIAC 2026 (Lucca, October 7-9), Stand B111: let's talk, and we can also evaluate the move to the new PCS Neo platform.
